On January 22, 2018, Thi Vai International Port Co., Ltd. (TVP) held the inauguration ceremony at Phu My City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.

Thi Vai International Port has the total area of 42,2 ha with capacity for accommodating general cargo vessels up to 80,000DWT and 5.000DWT barge berth.
There is a main berth has length of 300m and width of 27m, 2 barge berths with length of 175m and 140m, 2 cranes 40T and 5 grabs, the handling capacity is 20,000T per day.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Director of Vietnam Maritime Administration said that the operation of Thi Vai Intnernational Port with capacity of 3 million tons/ year will contribute to the actualization of the target from 101-109 million tons/ year of the cargos through the ports at Vung Tau seaport area in 2020 as approval of Ministry of Transport.
Mr. Le Tuan Quoc, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria – Vung Tau People’s Committee proposed that the investors should enhance to cooperate and effectively operate Thi Vai International Port and continue investing, implementing the next Phase of the project.
